Optimized Cable Company

So I received an HDMI cable from www.Optimization-World.com about 2 weeks ago and, having survived various illnesses in my household I have finally been able to put it through some testing.

The first thing I noticed is that the packaging is first rate, a padded envelope, sealed bag with the cable specs on it, twist ties holding the coil and hard plastic connector protectors.  All in all it gives me the feeling that they care about what they ship out, something that is all too rare in the online shopping world.

Once I opened the bag and took the cable in hand, I found nice gold plated connectors and a solid feeling cable that was easy to form and bend to just about any shape, all in all a very nice feeling cable.  After playing with it a little bit it was time to find out if this $13 cable could compare to the $80 Rocketfish cable that my wife bought at the recommendation of sales staff at a big box store.  The first thing that I did was pop a Blu-ray movie into my PS3 with the Rocketfish cable attached, watched it for about 10 minutes, paused it at various points, and generally just observed quality.  Next I plugged in the Optimized cable, which had a nice solid feel to the connection, and repeated the same 10 minutes.  In my opinion there was absolutely no difference at all in video or sound quality.  The movie looked and sounded just as good with either cable. After that I popped in Need for Speed: Shift and played for about 30 minutes with each cable and still absolutely no difference at all in either sound or video quality.

Over all I am very impressed with this cable, especially considering the price.  It has a nice sleek all black design, good fitting connectors and does a very good job providing video and audio.  Be sure to check out www.Optimization-World.com, they have a lot more to offer than just HDMI cables, and if this cable is any indication then all of their products should be worth checking out.
