TechRadar has an article about wireless mice and gaming. I have spent many hours (per day usually) gaming with wireless mice with no issues. I can’t stand the cord tugging on my mouse as I play. What about you? Do you prefer corded or cordless for gaming?

MSI is preparing to release it’s Graphics Upgrade Solution(GUS), an upgradeable external card. The card currently uses a PCI Express card slot and MSI also plans to launch a USB 3.0 version of GUS down the road. Lavasoft has released a new version of Ad-Aware, called Game Edition. The main feature is the product’s "Do not disturb" mode which is invoked automatically anytime you’re running a full-screen program; you can also turn it on manually. "Do not disturb" mode postpones scheduled scans and updates. If the real-time malware protection detects active malware, it silently takes care of the problem even if the user had chosen the let-me-handle-it Advanced mode. On exiting full-screen mode, the user gets a summary of any actions taken.

Dell announced the Alienware M15x, MSI announced their GT740 and GT640 and ASUS announced their G and M series laptops. After recently purchasing a Dell Studio XPS desktop with the Core I7 920, I am constantly impressed by how fast it is. It will be interesting to see if these laptops offer the same speed and their desktop equivalents.
